about my work
I’m an Italian photographer and writer based in Milan. I divide my time between fine art photography projects and travel and lifestyle photography work for romantic, nostalgic and classic brands as well as independent magazines.
My creative journey is driven by the need of uncovering beauty as a pure form of truth amongst the noise and the clutter of modern day existence. This quest for the sole and essential aesthetic delight translates into an evocative and whimsical style, where an oneiric dimension is to be found everywhere and the ordinary is transfigured into a melody of verses that cushions and protects us from the harshness of reality.
My visual language is guided by the necessity of re-enchanting the world, bringing magic and beauty into everyday life. My images are atmospheric, nostalgic and timeless. At the heart of it all is the primary need to escape the unromantic, dreary and materialistic waves of our time by painting a poetic veil over it, creating a place of calm and grace.
My fine art work is mainly created in solitude and includes still-life studies, landscape photography and self-portraiture.

Italian cuisine simplicity at its best. Open a fresh ricotta and pair it with some broad beans. Season with oil, salt and pepper and enjoy it with wine and some good bread.
I’ve honestly got so tired of the endless repetitive song telling us of all the beautiful and useful things we should do, learn and improve during the isolation period we have been forced into by COVID-19.
Lemon curd is an English quintessential comfort food perfect for your morning toast or your afternoon scones. Very popular in the XIX and XX century, is also the cream used for the Lemon Meringue Pie, an all time favourite in England and US and one of my absolute favourite dessert ever.
If you’re looking for something and you don’t exactly know what that is, if you’re feeling a little disconnected and you’ve been already trying all what modern society has to offer, give a go to Ovid, Seneca or Omer for a change.
